We have been working with Juan Diego since 2009. El Socorro is one of the most award winning fincas in all of Guatemala and is a coffee farm of unsurpassable beauty in the highlands of Central Guatemala roughly 50 kilometers from Guatemala City. El Socorro’s prized coffees are a result of its high altitude location combined with University trained agronomist Juan Diego’s great attention to detail. He has spurred the farm's focus on quality coffee production with advanced processing techniques including warm water fermentation, which speeds up the fermentation process. In this shorter period of fermentation, the coffee grain keeps its density & maintains the coffee's components intact.

Tasty cuppa!

Fantastic!
I typically enjoy a super duper mega fruity cuppa (love those citrus notes) so This one was a little more full bodied than I typically lean towards, but still incredibly delightful. Loved the stone fruit fruit undertones.

Also the mouthfeel was WONDERFUL- even as a French press lol.

So my vote? 10/10. Thoroughly enjoyable, incredibly well balanced.

Smells and tastes heavenly

I love the unique flavor of the Fapecafes Loja from Ecuador. The subtle taste of the black cherry, chocolate and honey are a great combination.

Coffee is a treat not a right

The Coffee was superb, exactly as described and enjoyed daily.
The best compliment I could give I drink it all day.
I cannot emphasize enough how important projects such as Torque, it's because of these efforts that producers are able to participate in a broader market (=better living standards) Torque is a perfect example of a tritiary model outside of the C market, allowing lroducers to market themselves directly to consumers.
